The National Museum of Mexican Art is a community organization and cultural institution dedicated to showcasing and preserving Mexican art and culture. Founded by a group of educators more than 30 years ago in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood, it’s become the only Latino museum accredited by the American Alliance of Museums and home to one of the largest Mexican art collections in the country. Its landmark exhibitions and arts programming have nurtured a community of artists, reflecting the vast diversity of art, culture and history of Mexico. GHY works in visual arts as an exhibition preparator for the museum.
