CASA

Community Arts Sustaining Academics (CASA) is the first National Museum of Mexican Art’s offsite after school program. As one of its initial teaching artists, GHY created and led a multimedia program for teens at John Hancock High School in Chicago’s Southwest Side. The program became a successful model and framework for other CASA programming, which implemented the arts as a way to improve student academics.
